Tong Hua
Tong Hua, born in Beijing, got her masters degree from Japan Miyagi University of Education. She was once a student of such famous artists as Zhang Shijian, Jin Hongjun. Presently she is dedicated to the painting field.
When she was in Japan, Tong Hua had held her personal three exhibitions which were broadly promulgated by local media and given high appraisals. Some of her works had been selected to attend the international art exhibition held in northeast Japan.
After many years’ artistic creation, Tong Hua has established her own style, which is to express the auspicious implication in Chinese traditional culture through oil painting. As to painting techniques, she appropriately combined figuration with abstraction, and attempted to use exquisite skills and live colors to describe various images.
Her works have been collected by domestic and foreign friends and overseas Chinese organizations, especially from Japan, Southeast Asia, Western Asia, Russia and Europe.
