I was once amazed by many artists those who could easily find a point to start. However, it is hard for me to find my point. I am not only attracted by heroism, but also by peaceful and quiet. As time passes, I think perhaps I will continue to pursuing my own favor.
My early time was studying painting with the style of the former Soviet Union and Chinese culture. The time has left me a great affection. 12 years ago I entered western world for the first time, then time when I was shocked by many kinds of school; I had a thought of returning to my mainland.
In my opinion, art can be divided into 2 parts, one is bestirring people, the other is comfort people, and I can not only choose one.
20 years ago, when I was on a plane for the first time, I found everything was reducing. I realized that people's observation was limited. When I was on the plane I could feel the nature clearly. I do not hope that my works is too close or far to the nature. I am just trying to construct a spirit from simplicity.
