      Ma Yiping, the Han nationality, was born in Longyou of Zhejiang province on September 10, 1941. He graduated from oil painting major of painting department of Sichuan Fine Arts Academy and became a teacher there in 1962. He was promoted to professor in 1987. He is the expert who enjoys a special subsidy from the State Council. Now he is the president of Chengdu Fine Arts College of Sichuan Academy of Music.

Ma Yiping joined Chinese Artists Association in 1981; successively held the position of standing director of Sichuan Artists Association, vice-president of Chongqing Artists Association, vice-president of Sichuan Fine Arts Academy, standing director of Chinese Oil Painting Association.
