Li Dan
She was born in Guiyang, and she’s living in city of Chengdu. Li Dan is the executive vice president of the China Youth Photographers’ Development Community, the executive vice president of City Photographers’ Association, the honorary president of Youth Photographers’ Association of Shandong & Guizhou Province, the president of the Youth Photographers’ Association of Sichuan Province, the vice president and secretary-general of the Photographers Association of Chengdu City, the executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief Photography Newspaper. She has won the titles “The First De Yi Shuang Xin Artists” and “Ten Best Youth Photographers in Sichuan Province”; she is also the member of both Literary Federation and Youth Federation in Sichuan Province.
In 1987, Li Dan formed a team named “Bicycle Women Photographer Reviewing Team” as the captain, which rode over Qin Ling Mountain and Yellow River. The team reached Beijing in 3 months, and acquired permission of Shanxi, Shanxi and Hebei Province. The government of city Beijing arranged a grand welcome ceremony for the team, which was rarely seen just after the “cultural revolution”.
She participated in the “Golden Horse Grassland Photography Week” and “Xiang Cheng and Han Yuan Photography Year” held by the Tibet local government, and won the title “Honored Citizen of Chengxiang County”, as the first photographer who won that title. She had also participated in the photography activities for Return of Hong Kong and Macau, and National Day of Singapore. She managed the first four Jiu Zhai Gou Photography Week, Hundred Photographer from Sichuan to Macau, and Western Advertisement Model Competition. She has won three ten-thousand RMB national rewards including “Charming Chongzhou”.
She always devotes herself in innovation, as co-founder of both “China Youth Photographers’ Community” and “Cities Photographers’ Association”.
She participated in five “Annual China Youth Photography Summit” and five “Annual City Photography Summit”. She has been rewarded as “Honored Citizen of Chongzhou” in 800 people “The Fifth City Photography Summit”, reported over 420 thousand times in media.
