Li Zhongliang, studied at middle school attached to Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts in the 1960s and then served as a fine arts designer in the Central Political Department Chorus after graduated from oil Paint major of Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts. Later, he became a full-time painter in Beijing Art Academy, during which period his oil paint “Waiting to Pass Through” won silver award in the sixth National Exhibition of Fine Arts and “Fishfag in the Southern Fujian Province” won the first prize in Beijing.
