Huang Yongzhen

Huang Yongzhen, whose courtesy name was Yiying or Baiyun, was also known as Bazuren, Buyi, and Xiangren. He is of Tujia ethnicity and descendant of Hunan residents who move into Sichuan Province in the earlier years of Qing dynasty. He was born in 1944 in the Rong County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, the native place of Wu Yuzhang and Zhao Xi, great literary figures in China’s history, and graduated from Sichuan Arts Academy in 1969.
