Hou Yimin
Hou Yimin, born in a Mongolian family in Gaoyang County, Hebei Province in 1930, began his painting career at an early age. He was admitted into the Beiping National Arts Technological School in 1946 and studied under masters Xu Beihong and Wu Zuoren, he worked in the Central Arts Academy.
