Fang Jing
born in Qingzhou of Shandong province in 1979.
Work as a teacher in the department of Chinese Painting in the college of Fine Arts of Shandong University.
Admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1998 and received the bachelor degree.
Admitted to He jiaying figure painting studio at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 and received the master degree.
Exhibitions experience
1. The work named ‘Mu’ won the first prize in Graduates’ outstanding professional painting exhibition at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in June, 2002.
2. A series of sketching works were compiled into Examples Gallery of Art Sketch for College Entrance Exam and Examples Gallery of Croquis for College Entrance Exam in 2004.
3. The graduate work won the first prize in Graduate Students’ outstanding professional painting exhibition at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in June, 2006.
4. In July, 2009, the work named ‘Tibetan Girl’ won bronze prize in 2006 National Art College Graduate Students’ Excellent Work Nomination Exhibition in Today Art Museum, Beijing.
5. The work ‘Snow Season’ won candidate prize in Tianjin 6th Youth Art Exhibition.
6. ‘Tibetan Girl’ and ‘Snow Season’ were both selected in the 2nd China Today Fine Arts Exhibition in the winter of 2006.
7. The work ‘Tibetan Series’ shown in the ‘Ink Verve --- the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Outstanding Youth’ held in Manila Metropolitan Museum of Philippines in June, 2008. The work named ‘Little Drolma’ was donated to Chinese Embassy in Philippines as a gift.
8. In September of 2008, the work ‘Sunshine of Xiahe’ was selected in National Fine Arts Exhibition in the 30th anniversary of China's Open Door and Reform Policy, held in Xiamen Art Gallery.
