Dong Wenzheng
Dong Wenzheng, or the well-known “Wu Mo” in arts circle, was born in 1938 in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Nanjing Arts College in 1962, and is now Professor of Arts in Suzhou University and the founder of Chinese Contemporary Silk-Painting—Wu Mo Painting. He is also vice president of the France-Sino Great Wall Association of Cultural Exchange (l’association franco-chinoise La Grande Muraille), guest professor of Arts Department in the Saginaw Valley State University in America, and honorary memberof the Royal Union Science Academy in Britain.
