Awards and Honors
The Night, painted in 1956, won the third prize in the national youth fine arts exhibition.
In the same year, the watercolor painting the Performance of Advanced Producers won the second prize in Sichuan youth fine arts exhibition.
In 1984, the oil paint series Paintings of the Mountain City was made to be movie specials by the Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio and widely distributed.
In 1985, the oil paint Through All Eternities was collected by National Art Museum of China.
In 1992, Du Yongqiao’s personal art exhibition was held in Taiwan.
In 1995, the Du Yongqiao Collection was published by Taiwan Art Fund.
In 1996, group exhibition of Du Yongqiao and his student Luo Zhongli was held in Taiwan.
In the same year, the water color painting Still Life won silver award in the first water color art exhibition of China.
In 1997, Du Yongqiao art exhibition was opened in Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Sichuan Art Gallery and stirred strong repercussions in art circle.
In the same year, the TV specials If The Sky Has Feeling-Du Yongqiao’s Painting was presented in succession in CETV, and in Chongqing, Chengdu and Sichuan TV stations.
In 1999, Du Yongqiao’s personal art exhibitions were held in succession in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung and some other places.
In the same year, the Du Yongqiao Oil Paint Album and the Masterpieces of Famous Artists-Still Life by Du Yongqiao·Flowers were published in succession.
In 2004, Ten Big Names in Art Circle of China: Album of Du Yongqiao’s Chinese Painting was published.
In 2007, the Retrospective Exhibition of Du Yongqiao’s Oil Paint and Water Color Skills was held in Sichuan Art Gallery, which stirred the whole painting circle in Sichuan, and then rapidly to the whole country and even the whole world. That’s the end of his career which lasted for more than half a century.
